Description

This show-stopping layered pizza pie combines all the best pizza flavors — gooey cheese, savory meats, tangy sauce, and pillowy bread — stacked into one irresistible creation. Perfect for parties or when you want to wow your guests!


Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade, divided)
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 ½ cups pizza sauce
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 lb Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • ½ lb ground beef, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small red onion, diced
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices (plus more for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Extra pepperoni slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil. Cook sausage, ground beef, and onions until browned.
  2. Season with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Drain excess grease.
  3. Grease and line a springform pan with parchment. Roll out one portion of dough and press into the base.
  4. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the dough.
  5. Add a layer of meat mixture, then ricotta, then mozzarella and cheddar.
  6. Place another dough round on top, press edges to seal.
  7. Repeat layers (sauce → meat → cheese → dough) until pan is full, finishing with sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, and pepperoni slices.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
  10. Let cool 10–15 minutes before removing from pan to slice cleanly.
  11. Sprinkle parsley on top and serve hot with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
