- 2 cans refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade, divided)
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 ½ cups pizza sauce
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 lb Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
- ½ lb ground beef, cooked and crumbled
- 1 small red onion, diced
- ½ cup pepperoni slices (plus more for topping)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Extra pepperoni slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil. Cook sausage, ground beef, and onions until browned.
- Season with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Drain excess grease.
- Grease and line a springform pan with parchment. Roll out one portion of dough and press into the base.
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the dough.
- Add a layer of meat mixture, then ricotta, then mozzarella and cheddar.
- Place another dough round on top, press edges to seal.
- Repeat layers (sauce → meat → cheese → dough) until pan is full, finishing with sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, and pepperoni slices.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let cool 10–15 minutes before removing from pan to slice cleanly.
- Sprinkle parsley on top and serve hot with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
