Description

This delicious Honey BBQ Chicken and Rice is easy to make and perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup honey BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Pour in rice and chicken broth, then mix well.
  5. Spread honey BBQ sauce over the chicken and rice.
  6. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
  7. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
