This delicious Honey BBQ Chicken and Rice is easy to make and perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into pieces
- 1 cup white rice
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup honey BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned.
- Stir in garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Pour in rice and chicken broth, then mix well.
- Spread honey BBQ sauce over the chicken and rice.
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, consider adding chili powder.
