Delicious cheesy chicken wraps that are easy to make and perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley or chili flakes for extra flavor
Instructions
Heat the pan
Place a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter.
Cook the garlic
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Do not let it brown.
Mix the filling
In a bowl, combine cooked chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add the sautéed garlic and mix well.
Assemble the wraps
Lay a tortilla flat. Spoon the chicken mixture into the center and spread it evenly. Fold in the sides and roll tightly.
Toast the wraps
Place the wraps seam side down in the skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden and the cheese melts inside. Press gently with a spatula for even browning.
Slice and serve
Remove from the pan, let rest for a minute, then slice in half and serve warm.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Greek yogurt works well instead of mayonnaise for a lighter option.
