Description

Golden, buttery rollups stuffed with gooey melted cheese, brushed with garlic herb butter, and baked until crisp and irresistible. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, or side for pasta night!


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (or pizza dough)
  • 810 cheese sticks (mozzarella or a mix of mozzarella & cheddar)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)
  • Ranch or garlic sauce (optional for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the crescent/pizza dough and cut into 8–10 rectangles.
  3. Place a cheese stick (or cheese slices) on one end of each dough piece.
  4. Roll tightly, tucking in the sides to seal the cheese inside.
  5. Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
  6. Place rollups seam-side down on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Brush generously with garlic butter mixture.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Brush with extra garlic butter if desired.
  10. Serve hot with marinara or ranch for dipping.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
  • These rollups can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
