Description

A refreshing drink made with fresh blueberries, lemons, ginger, and coconut water.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries (or frozen)
  • 2 medium lemons (peeled, quartered)
  • 2 inches fresh ginger root (peeled, sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (raw preferred for extra benefits)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup coconut water

Instructions

  1. Add the blueberries, peeled lemon quarters, ginger slices, honey, black pepper, and coconut water to a blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth, 30 to 60 seconds.
  3. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, using a spoon to help push the juice through. (For an extra-smooth shot, use a cheesecloth instead.)
  4. Use a funnel to fill small glasses or shot bottles with the juice. Repeat until all juice is poured.
  5. Seal the bottles or cover the glasses and place them in the refrigerator to chill before enjoying.
  6. Give it a quick stir or shake before drinking, as natural separation may occur.

Notes

  • This drink is ideal for a refreshing summer treat.
  • Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
