Description

A delicious and hearty Ultimate Stuffed Layered Pizza Pie that combines layers of meat, cheese, and toppings for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 refrigerated pizza doughs (or homemade, divided)
  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 ½ cups pizza sauce (or marinara)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese (or provolone for a more classic flavor)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • 2025 slices pepperoni
  • 1 cup cooked crumbled sausage or ham (optional)
  • ½ cup sliced black olives
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned.
  2. Add garlic, pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a deep springform pan or cake pan.
  4. Roll out pizza dough and press one portion into the bottom and slightly up the sides.
  5. Layer in this order: Dough base, Meat sauce, Shredded cheeses, Pepperoni & toppings.
  6. Repeat layers 2–3 times, finishing with cheese and pepperoni on top.
  7. Roll out the second dough to cover, or leave open-faced for a cheesy crust.
  8. Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes, until golden and bubbly. If top browns too quickly, tent with foil halfway through.
  9. Let rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing (helps set the layers).
  10. Garnish with fresh basil or oregano.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes to the meat sauce.
  • Feel free to customize the toppings based on your preferences.
