Description
A towering deep-dish pizza pie layered with crust, gooey cheese, savory meats, and topped with golden pepperoni. Think of it as pizza, lasagna, and casserole combined into one irresistible dish!

- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ¼ cups warm water (110°F / 43°C)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups pizza sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- ½ lb ground beef, cooked & seasoned
- ½ cup diced ham
- ½ cup Italian sausage, cooked
- ½ cup pepperoni slices (reserve extra for topping)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (for topping)
- Extra pepperoni slices (for topping)
- 1 tsp dried oregano or parsley flakes
Instructions
- Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead for 7–8 minutes until smooth.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour until doubled.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a deep-dish cake pan or springform pan.
- Roll out dough and press half into the bottom and sides of the pan.
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce. Add mozzarella, beef, and a sprinkle of cheddar.
- Add another thin crust layer (rolled dough). Spread sauce, add sausage, ham, and more mozzarella.
- Repeat layering until pan is nearly full, finishing with cheese.
- Spread remaining sauce and mozzarella over the top.
- Arrange pepperoni slices evenly, sprinkle with Parmesan and oregano.
- Bake 40–45 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Let cool 10 minutes before slicing for neat layers.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, omit the meats and add more vegetables.
- Feel free to customize the cheese blend to your liking.
- Letting the pizza cool slightly helps with slicing.
