Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Stuffed Croissant Lasagna Ring that combines the flavors of lasagna with the flaky goodness of croissants.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans refrigerated croissant dough (crescent rolls)
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted, for brushing)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage)
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (or cottage cheese)
  • 1 egg (beaten, to bind)
  • 1 tsp parsley (chopped)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)
  • Extra marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion until browned.
  2. Add garlic, marinara sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, parsley, and Parmesan until creamy.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Arrange crescent dough triangles in a circle on a greased bundt pan or baking sheet, points facing outward and overlapping slightly to form a ring.
  6. Spread a layer of the ricotta mixture onto the dough ring.
  7. Spoon beef mixture on top.
  8. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  9. Fold dough tips over the filling, tucking them underneath to seal the ring.
  10. Brush with melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  11. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  12. Sprinkle with more mozzarella and broil for 2–3 minutes for a gooey topping.
  13. Let cool slightly, then slice into wedges.
  14. Serve with warm marinara dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute ground beef with Italian sausage for a different flavor.
  • For a vegetarian option, use sautéed vegetables instead of meat.
  • Make sure to seal the dough well to prevent the filling from leaking out during baking.
