Delicious strawberry cheesecake stuffed donuts that combine the flavors of creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries in a fluffy donut.

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup warm milk (110°F / 43°C)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- Oil, for frying
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup heavy cream (whipped to soft peaks)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (diced)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 tbsp milk (adjust for consistency)
- 1–2 drops strawberry puree or pink food coloring
- Extra powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and 1 tbsp sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, remaining sugar, salt, egg, and butter. Knead until smooth and elastic (8–10 minutes).
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour, until doubled in size.
- Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold in whipped cream for a light texture. Chill until ready to use.
- In a small pan, heat diced strawberries with sugar and lemon juice until syrupy (about 5 minutes). Cool completely.
- Roll dough to ½-inch thickness. Cut into rounds using a donut cutter (or cookie cutter for filled rings).
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry donuts 1–2 minutes per side until golden. Drain on paper towels.
- Once cooled slightly, pipe cheesecake filling inside the donuts.
- Add a spoonful of strawberry mixture in each donut or swirl it with the filling.
- Dip tops in strawberry glaze, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and garnish with fresh strawberry pieces.
Notes
- Ensure the oil is at the correct temperature for frying to achieve a golden color.
- Chill the filling for better consistency when piping into the donuts.
- Adjust the glaze consistency by adding more or less milk.
