Description
A delicious and flavorful dish combining spicy Cajun chicken with a creamy honey butter sauce and pasta.
Ingredients

- 1½ lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp honey
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta (or your choice)
- 2 tbsp pasta cooking water (reserved)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 2 tbsp pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken in a single layer and sear for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and melt butter.
- Stir in honey, chicken broth, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Let simmer for 2 minutes, then add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and reserved pasta water to the skillet, tossing to coat in sauce.
- Return chicken to the skillet and mix well.
- Garnish with extra Parmesan or fresh parsley. Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute the pasta with your favorite type.
- This dish can be served with a side salad for a complete meal.
