Description
A delicious slow cooker recipe for Italian beef served on ciabatta rolls with provolone cheese.
Ingredients

- 1/4 Cup Diced White Onion
- 3–4 Pound Beef Chuck Roast
- 14 oz Diced Italian Style Tomatoes (Canned)
- 14 oz Can of Beef Broth
- 2 Cloves Crushed Garlic
- 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
- Dash Salt
- Dash Ground Black Pepper
- 2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
- Ciabatta Rolls or Gluten-Free Rolls
- Provolone Cheese
Instructions
- In a 6-quart slow cooker, add the onions to the bottom of the pot.
- Place the roast directly on top of the onions.
- Pour the diced tomatoes and beef broth over the roast.
- Evenly add the garlic cloves, Italian Seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a small dish, combine the balsamic vinegar and tomato paste, and add to the top of the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Once done, shred the roast and serve it on a ciabatta roll with provolone cheese.
Notes
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
- This dish can also be served over pasta or polenta.
