Description

A simple and delicious slow cooker recipe for baby carrots with a touch of sweetness and garnished with fresh parsley.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 32 ounces baby carrots
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons butter (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (to garnish)

Instructions

  1. Spray slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Pour carrots in the bottom of the crock pot. Sprinkle on salt and brown sugar and top with butter.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or until carrots are desired tenderness.
  4. Using a slotted spoon, remove carrots from slow cooker and place in serving bowl.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
