  • 12 oz (340 g) medium pasta shells
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz / 410 g) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz / 227 g) tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef with diced onion over medium heat until beef is cooked through. Drain excess fat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 8–10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Add cooked pasta shells to the skillet. Stir until pasta is coated with sauce and beef is evenly distributed.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Cover skillet for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm straight from the skillet.
