Description

This Turkey Pizza Bake is a delicious low-carb alternative to traditional pizza, packed with flavor and perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 pkg. turkey Italian sausage (19 oz.)
  • 1 jar Rao’s Pizza Sauce (13 oz.)
  • 5 Folios Parmesan Cheese Wraps
  • 2 cups grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 42 slices Hormel 25% reduced fat pepperoni
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano, divided

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 425F/220C. Spray a 9″ X 13″ baking dish with olive oil or non-stick spray.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan and cook the Italian sausage until it’s nicely browned.
  3. Add the Rao’s Pizza Sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce has slightly thickened.
  4. Cut the Folios Cheese Wraps in half, and arrange them in the baking dish as shown, ensuring coverage.
  5. Spread half the sausage/sauce mixture over the Folios.
  6. Top with 1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese.
  7. Add 21 pieces of pepperoni and a pinch of dried oregano.
  8. Repeat the layering process with another layer of Folios, sausage/sauce mixture, cheese, pepperoni, and oregano.
  9. Bake for about 20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  10. Serve the Pizza Bake hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a gluten-free version, use certified gluten-free sausage and toppings.
  • Leftovers can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.
