Description
Rudolph Reindeer Sandwich Bites are fun and festive mini sandwiches perfect for holiday gatherings and kids’ parties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 small baguette or loaf of soft bread (heart-shaped bread works great)
- Cheese slices (mozzarella, cheddar, or your choice)
- Turkey, ham, or chicken slices (optional)
- Tomatoes or cucumbers (optional fillings)
- Mini pretzels (for antlers)
- Red cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, or red candy (for Rudolph’s nose)
- Chocolate chips, black olives, or raisins (for eyes)
- A touch of cream cheese or mayo (as “glue”)
Instructions
- Slice the Bread: Cut the baguette into thick slices (about 1.5 inches). If using heart-shaped bread, position it so the top curves look like the reindeer head.
- Build the Mini Sandwiches: Add a slice of cheese between two bread slices. Add turkey/ham or tomato/cucumber slices if you want fillings. Press gently to hold everything together.
- Create Rudolph’s Reindeer Face: Eyes: Stick two chocolate chips or small black olives onto the top front of the sandwich. Use a tiny dot of cream cheese as glue. Nose: Press a red tomato, mini pepper slice, or red candy in the center of the face. Antlers: Gently push two pretzel twists into the top of the bread to make antlers.
- Serve: Place on a platter and enjoy immediately!
