A festive and creamy peppermint punch perfect for holiday celebrations.

- 4 cups (1L) vanilla ice cream
- 4 cups (1L) strawberry or raspberry sherbet (or pink peppermint sherbet)
- 3 cups (720 ml) cold milk or half & half
- 3 cups (720 ml) Sprite, 7UP, or sparkling lemonade
- 1 tsp peppermint extract (adjust for taste)
- Red food coloring (optional, for a deeper pink)
- Crushed candy canes (for garnish)
- Mini candy canes around the rim (optional but iconic π)
Instructions
- Prepare the Bowl: If decorating the bowl rim, dip the rim lightly in melted white chocolate or frosting. Press mini candy canes around the edge so they stick.
- Make the Punch: In a large punch bowl, add ice cream (in scoops), sherbet, pour milk over, add peppermint extract and a touch of red coloring (optional), and slowly pour in Sprite/7UP β this gives the frothy, fluffy texture. Stir gently β you want some creamy swirls.
- Top & Serve: Add extra scoops of ice cream on top, sprinkle with crushed candy canes, and serve immediately with ladle.
Notes
- For extra peppermint flavor, add 1β2 more drops of extract (careful β it’s strong!).
- For a creamier texture, use heavy cream instead of milk.
- To make it less sweet, use sparkling water instead of soda.
- For a red and white swirl effect, donβt fully mix β just fold lightly.
