- 1 pound cake (or angel food cake), cubed
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned, drained)
- 1 can (21 oz) peach pie filling or cherry pie filling
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers or shortbread cookies
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- Whipped cream swirls for garnish
- Maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
- In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter and brown sugar until crumbly. Toast lightly in a skillet or oven (optional) for a cobbler-like flavor.
- In a large trifle bowl, layer cubed cake at the bottom.
- Add a layer of whipped cream.
- Top with sliced peaches and a spoonful of pie filling.
- Sprinkle with crumble mixture.
- Repeat the layers until the bowl is full.
- Spread a final layer of whipped cream on top.
- Sprinkle extra crumble on top.
- Garnish with maraschino cherries.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let flavors meld.
- Serve with a big spoon, making sure each scoop includes all 5 layers.

- For a richer flavor, consider toasting the crumble layer.
- Use fresh peaches for the best taste, but canned peaches work well too.
