Description
Delicious Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Donuts that combine the flavors of peach cobbler and cheesecake in a delightful fried treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup powdered sugar (plus extra for dusting)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup canned peaches, drained and diced (or fresh peaches if in season)
- 1 tbsp sugar + ½ tsp cinnamon (for peach mixture)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag or plastic bag with the tip cut off.
- Prepare the Peaches: Dice peaches into small chunks. Toss with sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Assemble the Donuts: Flatten each biscuit dough slightly with your hands. Spoon a little cream cheese mixture in the center, add a spoonful of peaches, then carefully fold dough around filling, pinching edges tightly to seal. Roll into a smooth ball.
- Fry the Donuts: Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry donuts in batches until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Finish & Serve: While still warm, dust generously with powdered sugar. Serve immediately for gooey cheesecake-peach goodness!
Notes
- For a fresher taste, use seasonal fresh peaches instead of canned.
- Ensure the oil is at the right temperature for even frying.
- These donuts are best served warm for the best texture and flavor.
