Description

Million Dollar Spaghetti Bake is a comforting and delicious dish that combines layers of spaghetti, creamy cheeses, and a savory meat sauce, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb spaghetti (cooked al dente)
  • 1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage)
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (or cottage cheese)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded, divided)
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 tbsp butter (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil spaghetti until al dente. Drain and toss with a little olive oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil. Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, ricotta, sour cream, and half the Parmesan. Mix until smooth.
  6. Grease a 9×13 baking dish. Layer as follows: half of the spaghetti, slices of butter, all of the creamy cheese mixture, remaining spaghetti, meat sauce on top, sprinkle with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley. Slice into squares and serve warm with garlic bread or salad.
