Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 jars (24 oz each) marinara sauce (or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and sausage with onion until browned.
  2. Add garlic, tomato paste, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
