Description
A delicious blend of thick-cut beef bacon and goat cheese served on a crispy baguette.
Ingredients

- 1 pack thick-cut Beef Bacon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 baguette
- to taste Olive oil
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 4 or 8-ounce log of goat cheese
- for drizzling Maple syrup, honey, or hot honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the beef bacon on a baking sheet and sprinkle with brown sugar.
- In a small bowl, mix the water, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Brush the mixture over the bacon and bake until crispy, about 15-20 minutes.
- Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and drizzle with olive oil.
- Spread the goat cheese over the bread.
- Once the bacon is done, place it on top of the goat cheese.
- Drizzle with maple syrup, honey, or hot honey if desired.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, increase the amount of cayenne pepper or add more red pepper flakes.
- Experiment with different types of cheese if desired.
