- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: sprinkles or crushed nuts for topping
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sugar and corn syrup until fully dissolved. Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
- Remove from heat and fold in the crispy rice cereal until coated.
- Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish evenly using a spatula.
- Melt the chocolate chips in another bowl or saucepan until smooth; stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the pressed mixture and spread evenly. Allow cooling completely before cutting into squares.
