Description

A delicious baked chicken dish with pasta, marinara sauce, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz spaghetti or penne
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8–10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook chicken for about 6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the marinara sauce, then add the pasta followed by the cooked chicken. Pour remaining sauce on top and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
