Description

Holiday M&M Sprinkle Crinkle Cookies are irresistible treats! Soft and chewy vanilla cookies filled with red & green M&Ms, drizzled with white chocolate and topped with Christmas sprinkles. Perfect for cookie boxes and holiday parties!


Ingredients

  • 170 g unsalted butter (softened)
  • 150 g sugar
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 150 g red & green M&Ms
  • 80 g white chocolate chips (optional but delicious)
  • 120 g white chocolate (for drizzle)
  • 1 tsp neutral oil (optional for smooth piping)
  • Christmas sprinkles (for topping)
  • Extra M&Ms (for decorating the tops)

Instructions

  1. Make the Cookie Dough: Beat butter + brown sugar + white sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg + egg yolk + vanilla, mix well. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Mix until just combined. Fold in M&Ms + white chocolate chips. Chill dough 30 minutes (makes cookies thicker & softer).
  2. Shape the Cookies: Preheat oven to 180°C. Scoop dough into large balls (about 2 tbsp each). Press extra M&Ms gently on top of each. Space cookies well on the tray.
  3. Bake: Bake 10–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden but centers still soft. Let cookies cool on the tray (they firm up as they cool).
  4. Add the White Chocolate Drizzle: Melt the white chocolate (microwave 20–20 sec bursts). Add 1 tsp oil if you want a glossy drizzle. Using a piping bag or spoon, drizzle over cooled cookies. Immediately add sprinkles so they stick.
