Description

Flaky golden biscuits filled with warm apple pie filling, baked until caramelized, and finished with a sweet vanilla glaze — like mini apple pies in biscuit form!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated flaky biscuits (or homemade biscuit dough)
  • 1 cup apple pie filling (chopped into small pieces)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk (adjust for consistency)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set to 375°F (190°C) and grease a small baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
  2. Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix apple pie filling, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Assemble: Flatten each biscuit slightly, spoon apple mixture in the center, and fold edges over. Arrange seam-side down in the dish.
  4. Brush & Bake: Brush tops with melted butter and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  5. Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm biscuits.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of milk in the glaze for desired consistency.
  • For a richer flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the apple filling.
  • These biscuits are best served warm.
