Description

Delicious Galaxy Chocolate-Covered Strawberries, perfect for any occasion with a stunning galaxy effect.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 fresh strawberries (washed & dried completely)
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate or candy melts
  • Gel food coloring: navy blue, teal, violet, black
  • ½ cup dark chocolate (for drizzling)
  • ½ cup purple or blue candy melts (for extra swirl drizzle)
  • Edible glitter (pearl dust, luster dust, or galaxy sparkle blend)
  • Small star-shaped edible sprinkles & silver dragées

Instructions

  1. Wash strawberries and dry thoroughly (moisture prevents chocolate from sticking).
  2. Line a tray with parchment paper.
  3. Melt white chocolate (or candy melts) in a heatproof bowl over a double boiler or in the microwave in 20-second intervals until smooth.
  4. Divide melted chocolate into 3–4 bowls. Tint each with gel food coloring (navy, teal, violet, black).
  5. In a clean bowl, swirl small spoonfuls of each color together (don’t overmix—just swirl lightly).
  6. Hold strawberries by the stem and dip into the swirled chocolate, letting the colors blend for a galaxy effect.
  7. Place on the parchment-lined tray.
  8. Melt dark chocolate or purple candy melts, drizzle thin lines across strawberries.
  9. Sprinkle with edible glitter, mini pearls, and star sprinkles while still wet.
  10. Let strawberries set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10 minutes until firm.

Notes

  • Ensure strawberries are completely dry for best results.
  • Use high-quality chocolate for a smoother finish.
  • Experiment with different color combinations for unique galaxy effects.
