Description
These spicy turkey burgers are made with lean ground turkey and fresh jalapeños, topped with avocado and salsa for a delicious meal.

- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup fresh jalapeños, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 4 whole grain hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup salsa
Instructions
- Chop jalapeños and cilantro.
- In a bowl, mix ground turkey, jalapeños, cumin, and cilantro until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form patties about one inch thick; make a slight indentation in the center of each.
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat; lightly oil it. Cook each patty for about 6 minutes per side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Toast the buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until warm and crispy.
- Assemble by placing each patty on a bun and topping generously with avocado slices and salsa.
