A simple and delicious dinner idea featuring ground beef, cheese, and tater tots.

- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 3 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. Stir until creamy and combined.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the beef mixture evenly.
- Sprinkle with half the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Arrange frozen tater tots on top in a single layer.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until tots are golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and return to oven for 5 minutes until melted.
- Garnish with fresh green onions.
- Serve hot with a side salad or cornbread.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or corn for extra flavor.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
