- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1 cup blueberry pie filling (or fresh blueberries tossed with sugar & cornstarch)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: powdered sugar glaze (½ cup powdered sugar + 1–2 tbsp milk)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Flatten each biscuit into a 3–4 inch round.
- Spoon 1 tbsp of blueberry pie filling into the center.
- Carefully fold edges over filling and pinch tightly to seal.
- Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.
- Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
- Whisk together powdered sugar and milk for glaze (optional).
- Drizzle glaze over warm pie bombs.
- Enjoy warm as a snack, dessert, or breakfast treat!
Notes
- For a fresher taste, use fresh blueberries with sugar and cornstarch instead of pie filling.
- Adjust the sweetness of the glaze according to your preference.
