Description

Easy Blueberry Pie Bombs are irresistibly simple treats made with biscuit dough and blueberry filling, perfect for a snack, dessert, or breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 cup blueberry pie filling (or fresh blueberries tossed with sugar & cornstarch)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: powdered sugar glaze (½ cup powdered sugar + 1–2 tbsp milk)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Flatten each biscuit into a 3–4 inch round.
  4. Spoon 1 tbsp of blueberry pie filling into the center.
  5. Carefully fold edges over filling and pinch tightly to seal.
  6. Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk for glaze (optional).
  10. Drizzle glaze over warm pie bombs.
  11. Enjoy warm as a snack, dessert, or breakfast treat!

Notes

  • For a fresher taste, use fresh blueberries with sugar and cornstarch instead of pie filling.
  • Adjust the sweetness of the glaze according to your preference.
