Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt; gradually incorporate into the wet mixture without overmixing.
- Fold in chopped pecans and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
Notes
- For best texture, avoid overmixing the batter once the dry ingredients are added.
- Feel free to substitute walnuts for pecans if desired.
