A comforting and indulgent pasta dish featuring tender, golden-seared chicken, creamy Velveeta-infused spaghetti, and a rich mozzarella-garlic cheese sauce — baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 oz spaghetti (cooked al dente)
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk (warm)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with olive oil and seasonings (paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper). Heat a skillet over medium-high and cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through (6–8 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain. In a saucepan, combine Velveeta cubes, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir over medium heat until smooth and creamy. Toss cooked spaghetti into this cheesy sauce until well coated. Spread in a baking dish or skillet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (1 minute). Stir in flour to make a roux. Cook for 1–2 minutes. Gradually whisk in warm milk until smooth and slightly thickened. Stir in mozzarella cheese until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  4. Pour mozzarella garlic cheese sauce evenly over the Velveeta spaghetti base. Arrange seared chicken chunks on top. Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes to lightly brown the cheese topping.
  5. Garnish with extra parsley. Serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the chicken seasoning.
