Description
This creamy penne pasta dish is made with lean ground beef, garlic, and a rich Parmesan cheese sauce.

- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning

- 2 tsp olive oil for sautéing
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant and golden (about 5 minutes).
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart until browned (about 7 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Gradually add reserved pasta water until desired sauce consistency is reached.
- Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smoothly blended into the sauce.
- Add the cooked penne pasta to the sauce, tossing gently to coat every piece.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan or fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a touch of freshness, garnish with chopped parsley or extra Parmesan.
- Feel free to add vegetables such as spinach or bell peppers for added nutrition.
