Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter until bubbly.
- Dip each slice of bread into the custard mixture briefly, allowing it to absorb without becoming soggy.
- Cook soaked bread slices on the skillet for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup and powdered sugar if desired.
