Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (optional, for stability)
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Mix graham crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until sandy.
  3. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  4. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and mix well.
  5. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in sour cream, vanilla, and flour.
  6. Pour over the baked crust.
  7. Place cheesecake on the middle rack. Bake 50–55 minutes until edges are set and center jiggles slightly.
  8. Turn off oven, crack door open, and let cheesecake cool 1 hour inside.
  9. Chill in fridge at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Spoon cherry pie filling over the cheesecake before serving.

  • Chilling overnight enhances the flavor and texture.
