- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and brown sugar.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter and eggs until fluffy. Gradually mix into the dry ingredients.
- Pour batter into the prepared dish.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, dark brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth for the sauce.
- Bake pudding for 25-30 minutes. Pour half the sauce over the pudding before serving and drizzle remaining sauce on slices.
