Description

A rich and delicious chocolate pudding topped with a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and brown sugar.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and eggs until fluffy. Gradually mix into the dry ingredients.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared dish.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, dark brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth for the sauce.
  6. Bake pudding for 25-30 minutes. Pour half the sauce over the pudding before serving and drizzle remaining sauce on slices.
