Description

A delicious Chicken Avocado Melt Sandwich featuring protein-rich chicken, creamy avocado, and melted cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pieces Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 medium Avocado
  • 1 cup Cheese (Swiss, Cheddar, Provolone)
  • 4 slices Bread (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/4 medium Red Onion
  • 1 medium Tomato

Instructions

  1. Season the boneless skinless chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through and golden. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.
  2. While the chicken rests, thinly slice the ripe avocado, cheese, red onion, and tomato. Keep everything ready for assembling the sandwich.
  3. Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on each slice of your chosen bread. Layer the sliced chicken, creamy avocado, cheese, and fresh vegetables, then top with the other slice of bread, mayo side down.
  4. Heat a pan over medium heat with a little olive oil or butter. Grill the assembled sandwiches for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted beautifully.
  5. Once grilled to perfection, remove from the pan, let them cool briefly, slice in half, and enjoy your delicious Chicken Avocado Melt Sandwich!

Notes

  • Use ripe avocados for the best texture.
  • Mix and match cheeses for a delightful melting experience.
  • Choose whole grain bread for a healthier option.
  • Greek yogurt can be used as a substitution for mayonnaise.
