Description
Golden crescent rolls baked into whimsical witch hats, filled with gooey melted cheese, and decorated with green sugar sprinkles for a festive Halloween treat. Perfect for spooky parties or a fun family snack!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 slices of cheddar or American cheese
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp green sugar sprinkles (or finely chopped parsley)
- Small round green sprinkles or candy pearls for “eyes”
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Shape the Hats: Roll crescent dough triangles, starting from the base to the tip, into tight cones. Bend the tips slightly to give them a whimsical witch-hat look.
- Add Cheese: Slice cheese squares in half. Place one half inside the base of each crescent before baking (or stuff after baking for extra melty look).
- Bake: Brush with melted butter and bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
- Decorate: Once slightly cooled, wrap a thin line of green sugar sprinkles (or parsley) around the base of the “hat.”
- Add Eyes: Use two green sprinkles or candy pearls on the cheese “face” for eyes.
- Serve Warm: Enjoy while the cheese is gooey and soft!
Notes
- For a spicier version, consider adding jalapeño slices inside the hats.
- These can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven before serving.
