Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground pork sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Bisquick (or other baking mix)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk (optional, for extra moisture)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion (optional)
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper (optional, for color & flavor)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sausage, cheddar cheese, Bisquick, and cream cheese. Mix until well combined. Add milk a tablespoon at a time if mixture feels too dry. Stir in onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, and black pepper (if using).
  3. Scoop mixture and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and sausage is fully cooked. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes
