Description

Delicious Cheesy Meatball Sheet Pan Pizza Squares that are easy to make and perfect for a crowd.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
  • 1 ¼ cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups pizza or marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1215 cooked Italian meatballs (homemade or frozen, thawed)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms. Knead for 6–8 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Set oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch sheet pan.
  5. Punch down dough and press it evenly into the pan. Brush lightly with olive oil.
  6. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough.
  7. Sprinkle half the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  8. Place meatballs evenly across the pizza in a grid pattern.
  9. Top with remaining mozzarella and cheddar.
  10. Bake for 20–25 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
  11. Remove and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  12. Cool slightly, then cut into squares and serve warm.
