Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: chopped pickles or green onions for topping

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion, cook until browned. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute more.
  2. Add broth, milk, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in macaroni.
  3. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar until melted and creamy.
  5. Top with chopped pickles or green onions if desired. Serve hot.
