- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 tsp mustard
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: chopped pickles or green onions for topping
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion, cook until browned. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute more.
- Add broth, milk, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in macaroni.
- Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar until melted and creamy.
- Top with chopped pickles or green onions if desired. Serve hot.
