- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups seafood stock (or chicken broth)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1 cup scallops (or extra shrimp/crab)
- 1 cup crab meat (or imitation crab if preferred)
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 2 cups Bisquick mix (or self-rising flour mix)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ⅔ cup milk
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Slowly whisk in stock and cream.
- Season with Old Bay, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened (5–7 minutes).
- Add shrimp, scallops, crab, and vegetables. Cook 3 minutes until seafood just turns opaque.
- Pour mixture into a greased 9×13-inch or deep casserole dish.
- In a bowl, mix Bisquick, cheddar, and milk until dough forms.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough evenly over the seafood filling.
- Bake uncovered 25–30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush over hot biscuits.
- Serve warm and bubbly.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more Old Bay or Cajun seasoning.
- Feel free to substitute seafood based on availability or preference.
- This dish can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
