Description

A delicious and tender grilled chicken marinated in a flavorful buttermilk mixture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 1/2 cups Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  1. Stir together the buttermilk, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, honey, olive oil and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place the chicken in a ziplock bag and pour the buttermilk mixture on top.
  3. Allow the chicken to marinade for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
  4. Preheat the grill to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Brush the grill grates with oil to prevent the chicken from sticking.
  5. Once the grill is hot, place the chicken on the grill.
  6. Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
  7. Move the chicken from the grill to a separate plate, let the chicken sit for 5 minutes. Then it’s ready to slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • For best results, marinate the chicken overnight.
  • Adjust the cayenne pepper to your spice preference.
