- 1 lb (450 g) boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Oil for frying
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1–2 tsp sriracha (adjust for spice level)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
- 2 cups cooked jasmine or basmati rice
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp finely diced red chili (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dip chicken pieces in the beaten eggs, then coat with the dry flour mixture. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Fry chicken pieces in batches for 5–6 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and keep warm.
- Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, sriracha, and vinegar. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust spice or sweetness as desired.
- Toss & Assemble: In a large bowl, toss the crispy chicken with the Bang Bang sauce until evenly coated. Serve the saucy chicken over a bed of warm rice. Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and diced red chili.

- Adjust the amount of sriracha based on your spice preference.
- For a healthier option, consider baking the chicken instead of frying.
