Ingredients
Scale
- 40 round buttery crackers (like Ritz)
- 10 slices deli ham (cut into quarters)
- 10 slices Swiss cheese (cut into quarters)
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp honey (optional for a touch of sweetness)
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment or lightly grease it.
- Assemble: Place half of the crackers in the dish. Layer with ham, then Swiss cheese, and top with another cracker.
- Make Glaze: Mix melted butter, Dijon, Worcestershire, honey (if using), and poppy seeds. Brush generously over the tops of the cracker sandwiches.
- Bake: Bake uncovered for 10–12 minutes or until cheese is melted and the crackers are lightly golden.
- Serve Warm: Best enjoyed right out of the oven for gooey, melty perfection!
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of garlic powder to the glaze.
- These melts can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
